Americano and Mexicano tournament software for clubs

The PFM Club Panel runs padel Americano, Team Americano and Mexicano tournaments on your club’s courts. You add the participants; the panel prepares the rounds and court assignment and updates the standings as scores are entered. Players see the tournament and their matches in the PFM app, and you can export the results.

Americano, Team Americano and Mexicano

Three formats, one panel

You pick the format when you create the tournament. In Americano players change partners every round and collect individual points. In Mexicano the pairings follow the current standings from round two. In Team Americano fixed pairs play each other. In all three, matches run to a fixed number of points and every point counts.

  • Americano: a new partner every round, individual ranking
  • Mexicano: players with similar totals meet; in each group of four, 1st and 4th play 2nd and 3rd
  • Team Americano: fixed pairs, ranking by pair
  • Points per match: 16, 18, 21, 24 or 32

Rounds and courts are ready

Once the participants are in, you do not work out pairings by hand. The panel sets the pairings and courts for every round; in Americano nobody gets the same partner twice as long as a schedule without repeats exists. When the player count is not a multiple of four, rests are spread as evenly as possible.

  • One court for every four players
  • In Mexicano, the player with the fewest rests sits out first
  • Rounds, pairings and courts on one screen

Enter the score, the standings follow

Each score entered in the panel updates the standings. Players level on points are separated by further criteria such as average points per match, wins and point difference. When the event is over, export the results to keep them in your club records or share them.

  • Standings updated with every score
  • Tie-break criteria
  • Results export

Players are in the PFM app

Players see the tournament and their matches in the PFM app. You set the entry fee and prize details in the tournament; they are shown to players, and PFM does not collect the payment. To announce the event, send a push notification or an email to the members you choose from the panel.

What an Americano brings to your club

An Americano brings different players together on the same evening and fits many matches into a short time. Because fixed-point matches have a predictable length, you can plan court hours in advance. Mexicano pairs players in similar form, so members who want competition get close matches.

Frequently asked questions

How do I run an Americano tournament with PFM?

In the PFM Club Panel you create a padel Americano, Team Americano or Mexicano, choose the points per match and add the participants. Rounds, court assignment and standings are kept in the panel, entered scores update the ranking, and results can be exported.

Which tournament formats are available?

For padel: Americano, Team Americano and Mexicano, with matches to 16, 18, 21, 24 or 32 points. The panel’s league module also covers tennis and padel leagues, tennis group leagues, knockout brackets and the tennis Défi ladder.

What if the number of players is not a multiple of four?

The extra players rest in turns. PFM spreads the rests as evenly as possible; in Mexicano the player with the fewest rests sits out first.

Does PFM collect the entry fee?

No. The entry fee and prize are set in the tournament as information and shown to players; the club takes payment its own way.

Which plan includes tournaments?

Leagues and tournaments are part of the Pro plan. Clubs outside Türkiye choose a plan by court count. Club costs €39 (CHF 45 / $49) a month for up to 6 courts, plus €5 (CHF 6 / $6) per extra court. Pro costs €99 (CHF 109 / $119) with 3 courts included, plus €19 (CHF 21 / $25) per extra court. Every plan starts with a 30-day free trial, with no setup fee and free data import; prices exclude VAT, and annual billing saves 20%.

Can I run an Americano without the panel?

Yes. For a one-off event, the Americano generator on our website builds the schedule and the standings with no sign-up. For clubs that run tournaments regularly, the panel adds court assignment, following in the app and export.
